Bega Group, Chelsea Heights in Melbourne's south-east, is seeking a Distribution Centre Manager to lead outbound logistics and warehouse operations. You will supervise ~50 indirect reports and 3 direct reports, driving safety, efficiency and agile performance.

This on-site role operates Monday to Friday with some WFH days and flexible hours, working with manufacturing, transport and logistics teams across VIC/TAS to achieve network excellence and customer satisfaction while delivering strategic

The Role

Our Chelsea Heights site is located in Melbourne's south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year!

We are looking for our next Distribution Centre Manager to join the team in Chelsea Heights! They will play a key role in leading our outbound logistics operations at our Chelsea distribution centre. Leading a team of 3 direct reports and around 50 indirect reports across the site, this role's purpose is to deliver an effective, efficient, and agile Warehouse Operation. This is an exciting opportunity to drive safety, performance, and collaboration across teams while contributing to our strategic goals.

This role works on site at Chelsea Monday to Friday during operating hours, with some flexibility on WFH days and working hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 50, fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee service delivery, quality, and cost performance metrics to meet operational targets.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, transport, and logistics teams across VIC/TAS to drive network excellence.
• Identify and implement value-creation opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

• Experienced in FMCG warehousing operations and passionate about creating a positive workplace culture.
• Background in safety systems & programs, cold chain /regulations compliance metrics and vendor management
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and effective communication across diverse teams.
