Job summary

Lactalis Australia is seeking a hands-on Logistics and Distribution Coordinator based in Forrestdale, WA. You will coordinate day-to-day logistics, lead a shift team, and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations to meet customer service targets.

Reporting to the DC Manager, you will drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders while managing labour and inventory across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG Distribution is highly advantageous.
• Supervisory experience is essential.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is desirable.
• Attention to detail and strong leadership are required.
• Strong communication and customer service focus are important.
• Proactive approach and continuous improvement mindset expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shift operations and stakeholder communication.
• Deliver on-time, in-full customer service and dispatch performance.
• Manage labour resources and workforce coverage across shifts.
• Lead performance, training, and communication through toolbox talks and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, GMP, and company procedures.
• Monitor inventory, reporting, and operational performance to meet service and budget targets.

About The Opportunity

Based in Forrestdale, Western Australia, a new rare and exciting opportunity is available for a hands on Logistics and Distribution Coordinator to join our team.

Reporting to the DC Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the logistics team on shift.

With leadership, proactivity and energy, you need to make sure that customer service is delivered whilst ensuring safety, quality and efficiency is met.
