Job summary

Artisan Chemist on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a pharmacy dispense technician to join our friendly team. You will process prescription orders, respond to client enquiries by phone, email and in-store, and maintain patient safety and confidentiality while providing a caring pharmacy experience.

We value attention to detail, strong computer skills, multitasking ability, and excellent customer service. Prior pharmacy dispense tech experience is required; Community Pharmacy Certificates are ideal

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pharmacy dispense tech role is required.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new software systems.
• Able to multitask effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy to ensure error-free data entry.
• Ability to persistently focus on repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate with kindness.
• Proven ability to work swiftly and efficiently, meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks.
• Familiarity with pharmacy regulations will be an advantage.
• Community Pharmacy Certificates ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Process and build prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to client enquiries on the phone, email and in-store.
• Assess priority and escalate enquiries appropriately when beyond your scope.
• Provide exceptional customer service and a positive, caring pharmacy experience.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and guidelines to uphold patient safety and confidentiality.
• Assist with order and shipping preparation, and other dispensary support duties.
