Job summary

Earlyrise Baking Co. is seeking a full-time Dispatch Team Member to help get our baked goods to communities across NSW. You will be responsible for picking, packing and dispatching orders, operating packaging equipment, and assisting with daily cleaning.

The role offers a consistent 5-day roster from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday with optional Sunday swap. We value individuals who are physically capable of heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) and who understand Food Safety, GMP and HACCP

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of Food Safety, GMP and HACCP standards, or willingness to learn.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain high quality in work.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg regularly.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch orders accurately and assign to delivery routes (lifting up to 20 kg).
• Set up and operate packaging and related equipment (flow wrappers, baggers).
• Assist with daily end-of-shift cleaning and plant shutdowns.

Dispatch Team Member - Earlyrise Baking Co

Due to continued growth and business expansion, Earlyrise Baking Co is looking for a full-time Dispatch Team Member to our growing.

Love working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a team that gets fresh bakery goods out to communities across the state (and beyond)?

From crusty artisan sourdoughs and Stevenson Village Pies to fluffy loaves and flaky croissants – you'll play a key role in ensuring our products are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched to customers, contractors, and new clients every single day.

Enjoy a consistent 5-day roster from 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday, with the option to drop a weekday and pick up a Sunday instead.

About the Role

As a Dispatch Team Member, your responsibilities will include (but aren’t limited to):

• Pick, Pack & Dispatch – Accurately count, pack, and assign orders to the correct delivery routes (lifting up to 20kg).
• Machine Operation – Set up and operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic machines like flow wrappers and industrial bread baggers.
• Cleaning – Assist with daily end-of-shift cleaning and plant shutdowns.

About You

• Have 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• An understanding of Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards – or are ready to learn!
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain high standards of quality in work.
• Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum 25kg).
