Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Dispatch/Mine Monitoring specialist to maximise fleet utilisation, support production targets, and ensure clear communication across operational teams. The role involves running daily dispatch, optimising fleet allocation, monitoring production delays, and maintaining data integrity with mine monitoring systems.

Applicants should have experience in mining dispatch, fleet management, and knowledge of Modular Dispatch; strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Mining Dispatch, Mine Monitoring, Fleet Management Systems, or Production Mining Operations
• Strong understanding of load and haul operations and heavy mobile equipment in a mining environment
• Experience using Modular Dispatch or similar Fleet Management Systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Advanced computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate multiple mining systems
• Excellent communication skills with Mining, Maintenance, CHPP, and Technical Services teams
• Ability to stay calm and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Current Driver's Licence, Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
• Current Resume
• Modular Mining Certification Level 1; SAP; Power BI; SQL; Linux; GPS; mine monitoring systems
• Knowledge of mining dispatch terminology including haul routes, delays, CHPP operations, fleet allocation, and production reporting

Responsibilities

• Run daily fleet dispatch operations and coordinate haulage activities

You will be responsible for managing Dispatch and supporting Mine Monitoring & Control functions to maximise fleet utilisation, support production targets, and ensure effective communication between operational departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Running daily fleet dispatch operations and coordinating haulage activities
• Optimising fleet allocation to support the mine plan and production targets
• Monitoring and responding to production delays and operational interruptions
• Supporting Mining, Maintenance, CHPP, and Technical Services teams through effective communication
• Validating operational data and ensuring accurate system reporting
• Supporting operators in the use of fleet management and mine monitoring systems
• Promoting safe and efficient operation of heavy mobile equipment across site
