ABN Group’s The Maker Designer Kitchens in Bassendean, WA, is seeking a reliable Dispatch & Logistic Operator. The role blends driving with warehouse dispatch, loading/unloading, and general logistical support across our busy manufacturing and logistics environment.

You’ll be involved in loading, securing loads, and coordinating transfers between warehouses and suppliers, while working with the wider team to keep operations moving.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted drivers licence essential.
• Previous experience in dispatch, warehousing, transport, or logistics highly regarded.
• HC drivers licence desirable but not essential.
• Forklift licence and experience desirable.
• Experience loading, unloading, and securing product advantageous.
• Knowledge of safe load restraint and manual handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with cabinets, stone slabs, and related products.
• Pick, prepare, and organise products for dispatch.
• Secure loads for transport and ensure safe handling.
• Complete deliveries, collections, and transfers between warehouses.
• Operate company vehicles per operational needs.
• Assist with residential site deliveries alongside drivers.
• Support day-to-day warehouse and dispatch activities.

The Maker Designer Kitchens, part of the ABN Group, is Western Australia’s leading manufacturer of designer kitchens, stone, and glass products. Based in Bassendean, we operate a busy manufacturing and logistics environment supporting residential construction across WA.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dispatch & Logistic Operator to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining driving duties with warehouse dispatch, loading, unloading, and general logistical support across our business.

We are not just looking for a driver, this role is about more than being the wheel. We’re looking for a practical, flexible team player who is happy to get involved wherever needed to keep our operation moving.

The Role

As part of the dispatch team, your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading trucks with kitchen cabinets, stone slabs, and associated products
• Picking, preparing, and organising products for dispatch
• Safely securing and restraining loads for transport
• Completing delivers, collections, and transfers between our warehouses, suppliers, and other locations
• Operating various company vehicles according to operational needs
• Assisting with residential site deliveries and working alongside our delivery drivers and offsiders where required
• Supporting the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and dispatch operations
• Working with the wider manufacturing and logistics team to ensure materials and products are moved safely and efficiently

This role offers a balance of driving and hands on dispatch work, with daily activities varying according to business needs.
