Job summary

Greystones Recruitment is seeking a reliable and hardworking dishwasher to join our team in Melbourne. You will help keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly, washing dishes and assisting with basic prep across multiple venues.

We value punctuality, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Shifts include day, evening, and function venues, with flexibility to work across Docklands, Richmond and Ivanhoe.

• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish.
• Assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen duties.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.

About the role

You’ll help keep our kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly. Your duties will include:

Washing dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.

Operating the dishwasher and putting clean items away.

Cleaning kitchen benches, floors and work areas.

Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish.

Assisting with basic food preparation and other kitchen duties as required.

Following food safety and hygiene procedures.

About you

Can comfortably manage a role that involves standing, lifting and repetitive tasks.

Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is welcome, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are just as important.

Availability

Shifts may include:

Day shifts: approximately 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, including Docklands venues

Functions: shifts at various function venues, including Richmond and Ivanhoe

Evening shifts: available at selected venues, including Richmond and Ivanhoe

Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and functions is highly desirable.

Successful candidates must be comfortable working across different venues and adapting to different kitchen environments and service requirements.
