About the Client:Our client is a lovely lady in her 50s living with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis alongside Type 2 Diabetes. She is warm and easy to get along with when supported by calm, familiar staff who take the time to understand her routine. She is physically mobile with a 4-wheeled frame and independent with most transfers, but she needs cognitive support, prompting and reorientation across her day, along with hands‑on assistance with medication, insulin and continence care.
She does best with consistent, patient support workers who communicate calmly, redirect gently, and understand that her behaviours are a direct expression of her condition rather than a reflection of who she is. When approached the right way, she is easily redirected and settles quickly.
About the Role:All staff must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
