Job summary

Maxlife Care Pty is seeking a warm, patient Disability Support Worker to assist a lady in her 50s living with Progressive MS and Type 2 Diabetes on the Central Coast, NSW.

The role covers personal care, prompting, cognitive support, insulin administration and glucose monitoring, diabetic meal planning, 1:1 community access and transport, de-escalation and accurate shift notes in line with NDIS Practice Standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• Ability to administer insulin and monitor blood glucose.
• Capable of providing personal care and supports in daily living.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and prompting.
• Offer cognitive support to assist daily activities.
• Administer medications including insulin and monitor glucose levels.
• Plan diabetic meals and support healthy eating.
• Provide 1:1 community access and transport.
• Utilise de-escalation techniques to support the client.
• Maintain accurate shift notes and medication records per NDIS standards.

Maxlife Care Pty is seeking warm, patient female Disability Support Workers to support a lovely lady in her 50s living with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and Type 2 Diabetes in Wadalba, NSW.

You will provide personal care, prompting and cognitive support, medication administration including insulin and blood glucose monitoring, diabetic meal planning, 1:1 community access and transport, calm de-escalation, and accurate shift notes and medication records in line with NDIS Practice Standards.
