Job summary

Focus Care is seeking enthusiastic and caring Disability Support Workers to provide in-home support across the Hunter region, including Charlestown, NSW. Build rapport and meaningful connections while helping clients maintain independence.

Responsibilities include personal care, transport, domestic assistance and social support, with travel to clients’ homes. Flexible shifts, training opportunities, and a supportive environment support staff development and well-being.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Check is required or willingness to obtain it.
• Current First Aid certificate is required.
• Willingness to provide services such as personal care, transport, domestic assistance & social support and travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with transport to appointments and activities.
• Deliver domestic assistance and social support to promote independence.
• Travel to clients’ homes within the Hunter region as required.
• Occasional weekend and overnight shifts may be available.

Focus Care is seeking enthusiastic and caring Support Workers. With a minimum of two hours spent with each client, there is time to build rapport and rewarding connections.

We are currently recruiting for participants in the Hunter region. Shifts may suit students studying nursing or a related allied health discipline.

About You

• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid
• Willingness to provide services such as personal care, transport, domestic assistance & social support & travel to client’s homes within a specified location

Longer hours and increased workloads are available, and the role may include weekend and overnight services.
