Complete Care Team in Wilberforce is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist a client within the local community. Duties include personal care, mobility support, domestic tasks and community access to promote independence.

Duties may vary to suit client needs; a valid NDIS Worker screening check, Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate are required, plus a current driver’s license with a willingess to drive.

Responsabilidades

• Personal care; showering and toileting.
• Manual handling; mobility aids and hoist usage.
• Domestic duties; cleaning and meal preparation.

Complete Care Team aims to provide a holistic and wellness model of attendant care for people in the community with high support needs. We focus on all aspects of our client’s needs, including the physical, emotional, spiritual and social to promote wellness. Our highly respected company was established in 1999, providing a quality home based person-centered service which puts clients at the center of the decision making and planning process to help identify and achieve their goals.

We are seeking individuals to assist our client in Wilberforce to achieve their goals, maximize their potential for independence and live their best life within their community.

Duties may vary to suit the needs of the individual client. This may include however are not limited to:

• Personal care; showering and toileting.
• Manual handling; use of equipment to support mobility such as wheelchairs or hoist
• Domestic duties; cleaning and meal preparation
• Community access; shopping, specialist appointments
• NDIS Worker screening check, Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
• Working rights in Australia
• Current driver’s license and willingness to drive including having a registered and insured vehicle

Preferred but not essential:

• Industry experience will be highly regarded
• An understanding of person-centered disability care and Acquired Brain Injury
• You will be paid for all your training
