Job summary

Lumia Care is urgently seeking Disability Support Workers to help clients live safely and independently in their homes across Fassifern region. You’ll provide social support, personal care, and transportation to keep people connected with their community.

We offer paid induction, ongoing mentoring, a weekday roster (Mon–Fri), and a supportive team committed to your development. Cert III/IV in relevant fields or studying Nursing is valued; driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability or Community (or currently studying Nursing) is highly regarded.
• Community/Aged Care experience is preferred.
• Current checks (First Aid/ CPR, Police Check, NDIS, WWCC) or willingness to obtain them.
• Driver's licence + a reliable insured vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide social support, companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with transport, shopping and outings.
• Deliver personal care with dignity and respect.
• Support with domestic tasks and meal preparation.
• Assist with mental health conditions & challenging behaviours.
