Job summary

Lumia Care is urgently seeking compassionate Disability Community Support Workers in the South West Region, NSW, to help clients live safely and independently at home while staying connected to their community. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, support domestic tasks, monitor wellbeing, and follow care plans with clear communication and empathy.

Requirements include Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability or Community, valid driver’s licence and insured vehicle, and current

Qualifications

• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Community
• Disability/Aged Care/Manual Handling experience
• Driver's licence and insured vehicle (essential)
• Current checks (or willingness to obtain): First Aid/CPR, Police Check, NDIS, WWCC

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support safely and respectfully
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and wheelchair management if needed
• Support domestic tasks and home organisation
• Provide emotional support and maintain a calm, structured environment
• Monitor fatigue, pain levels, and signs of distress
• Follow care plan, risk management strategies, and reporting requirements
