Job summary

Lumia Care is seeking Community Support Workers to join our team in the Eastern and St George suburbs region, NSW. You will help elderly clients at home with social support, transport, shopping and meaningful outings, while delivering personal care with dignity to promote independence.

We offer flexible hours, paid induction and development, and a $500 signing bonus. Minimum 2 days availability Mon–Fri 7am–3pm; drivers and checks are required or willing to obtain them.

Qualifications

• A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable, current Nursing students will also be considered.
• Experience in aged care within the community is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is a MUST.
• Current First Aid certificate, Police check, NDIS Worker screening check and Working with Children Check (mandatory) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in the community by providing social support, transport, shopping assistance and meaningful outings.
• Deliver personal care with dignity and help clients stay independent at home through domestic support, meal preparation and warm companionship.
