Job summary

Lumia Care is hiring Disability Support Workers to support clients in Medowie NSW and surrounding areas. You’ll help people live safely and independently at home while staying connected to their community. This role offers ongoing mentorship, paid induction and training, and a regular weekday roster (Monday to Friday) with a minimum of 3 days availability.

Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle. Applicants must have Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability or Community work (or be studying Nursing);

Qualifications

• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Community (or nursing studies) required or highly regarded.
• Community/aged care experience.
• Driver's licence and insured vehicle (essential).
• Current checks (or willingness to obtain): First Aid/CPR, Police Check, NDIS, WWCC.

Responsibilities

• Provide social support, companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with transport, shopping and outings.
• Deliver personal care with dignity and respect.
• Support with domestic tasks and meal preparation.
