Ultimate Disability Services is seeking a capable Team Leader/Senior Support Worker to lead a group home in Blakeview, Adelaide. You will provide hands-on support while guiding the house team across shifts and activities, ensuring consistent, high-quality care.

Lead and provide direct support to participants with physical and/or intellectual disabilities in a group home setting in Blakeview, Adelaide. This role combines hands-on support work with day-to-day leadership of the house team, ensuring consistent, high-quality care across all shifts.
Provide support to participants with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
Assist participants with activities and personal care during daily home living
Understand and provide appropriate care across a range of needs, including participants who demonstrate challenging behaviours
Assist with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment
Work under general guidance from the person seeking support and their family, within clearly defined guidelines
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the house team, including onboarding new staff and modelling best-practice care
Coordinate shift handovers and ensure documentation (progress notes, incident reports, care plans) is completed accurately and on time
Monitor compliance with participant support plans, behaviour support plans, and restrictive practices authorisations
Escalate concerns, incidents, or roster gaps to the Service Delivery Manager promptly
Support rostering needs and help maintain adequate shift coverage
Deliver a service that meets the needs of a highly disadvantaged group while operating in line with legislation, regulation, and best practice guidelines
Represent the Ultimate Disability Services brand with enthusiasm and pride
Communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders in an efficient manner
Experience working with participants with mental and physical disabilities
Prior experience in a team leader, shift leader, or senior support worker role (preferred)
A can-do attitude, enthusiasm, and great communication skills
Strong, proven interpersonal skills and empathy
Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
Confidence guiding and supporting team members while maintaining hands-on support duties
