Endeavour Foundation in Nambour seeks a calm and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our SIL home. You will provide person-centred support to people with disabilities, helping them live more independently with a mix of day, afternoon and sleepover shifts on a permanent roster.

The role involves assisting with daily living, personal care, meal planning and community activities, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts where available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
• Availability for a permanent roster including multiple sleepovers and varied shifts across days, evenings, early mornings, weekends and overnight supports.
• Good computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to obtain Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid and related checks.

Responsabilités

• Helping people achieve NDIs goals by developing daily living skills (housekeeping, personal care, budgeting).
• Assisting with personal care to meet individual needs and maintain dignity.
• Supporting meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and community outings.
• Providing support during daily activities and helping maintain connections with family and services.
• Fostering a safe, respectful and supportive environment for all clients.
