Job summary

Life Without Barriers in NSW is seeking casual care workers to provide one-on-one HIDPA support in clients' homes across Blacktown, Greystanes and western Sydney. Shifts include early mornings and late afternoons; each shift minimum two hours with 0.99 per kilometre travelled.

You will assist with personal care, mobility and daily living tasks, keep person-centred plans and maintain clear progress notes. Applicants must have a valid Australian Driver's Licence, reliable insured vehicle, and

Qualifications

• Experience providing High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA).
• Previous experience supporting people with disability in a home care setting.
• Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care.
• Australian Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR are required.
• Willing to complete basic household chores.
• Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA).
• Assist with hoist transfers.
• Assistance with daily living (including personal care and domestic tasks).
• Maintain and monitor person-centred plans.
• Documenting and progress note keeping.
