Job summary

CPL - Choice, Passion, Life is seeking casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Rockhampton and surrounding suburbs. Whether you’ve done this before or you’re new and passionate about helping others — we’d love to hear from you.

You will be helping people to live independently and do the things that matter to them, including meals, daily tasks and community activities. Shifts vary across mornings, evenings, nights, afternoons and days with supportive training and a team-focused

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to helping others and working in a team.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
• Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can help you get these).
• Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Help with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Support people to live independently and participate in life activities.
• Accompany to appointments or social activities.
• Provide medication support.
• Assist with mobility and use of hoists where required.

What you will be doing

No two days are the same, you’ll be supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.

This could include:

• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Supporting someone to get out into the community.
• Attending appointments or social activities.
• Medication support.
• Assisting with mobility (including hoists where required).
