Job summary

Complete Care Team is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to assist clients in the Merrylands and Revesby area of NSW. The role involves personal care, domestic tasks, meal preparation and coordinating weekly and monthly appointments.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience, a current First Aid certificate, a valid Working with Children Check, and a National Police Check. A current driver licence and access to a insured vehicle are preferred, along with the right to

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in support work.
• Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
• First Aid Certificate demonstrated
• National Police Check
• Driver Licence and access to a vehicle
• Working rights in Australia (visa entitlement)

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care and domestic assistance.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Support planning for weekly/monthly appointments.
• Review and adapt home exercise programs (Physio/OT/SP).
• Accompany and support attendance at appointments.
• All duties to promote client independence and wellbeing.

Our clients are looking for experienced support workers in theRevesbyandMerrylandsarea to assist to achieve goals, maximise potential for independence and live their best life within the community.

We are looking for staff available for various shifts for minimum 4 hours plus sleepovers. and who have the flexibility to pick up additional shifts as required.

Duties may include however are not limited to:

• Personal Care
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Planning for weekly/monthly appointments
• Reviewing home exercise programs (Physio, OT, SP)
• Supporting attendance at appointments
• Minimum 1 year experience

Preferred but not essential:

• Experience working with participants with a Brain Injury preferred
