Ample Life is seeking a Disability Support Worker - Mental Health to join our SIL Care Team in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs on a casual basis. You will support participants with mental health and psychosocial needs, helping maintain wellbeing, independence and participation in the community.

You will work under the SIL Manager, following person-centred support plans, and provide care with dignity, privacy and rights in mind.

Formación

• 100 points I.D
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current National Police Check including clearance to work with vulnerable persons/people with disability
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module ("Quality, Safety and You") or willingness to complete prior to commencement

Responsabilidades

• Supporting participants with mental health and psychosocial disabilities in daily routines.
• Promoting independence, wellbeing and community participation.
• Following Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and authorised Restrictive Practices (RPs) where relevant.
• Administering medication safely in accordance with individual support plans.
• Maintaining confidential shift notes, progress notes and incident reports.
