Job summary

Goulburn Options is seeking Disability Support Workers for the Accommodation & Living team in Seymour. The role focuses on delivering person-centred care aligned to each participant’s goals, health needs and daily living requirements within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum three sleepover shifts per fortnight
• Minimum 12 months experience in disability or a related field
• Certificate III in Individual Support (highly regarded)
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
• Competency in Medication Management and Administration
• Experience in Mealtime Management, including PEG feeding
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Capacity to meet the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling
• Two current professional references

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, person-centred care aligned to the participant’s goals, health needs and daily living requirements.
• Support participants in independent living and daily activities.
• Collaborate with the Accommodation & Living team to ensure consistent support.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and career progression.
