Job summary

Avenue is seeking values-driven, compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Botany, Sydney. The role focuses on supporting people with disability to join microbusiness teams and develop skills, with day program variety.

You will provide personal care, build relationships, gather progress feedback, and contribute to inclusive community outcomes. Availability on Mondays and Tuesdays is preferred; WWCC and NDIS screening required or willing to obtain; first aid certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disability preferred.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required or willing to obtain.
• Working with Children Check preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Providing all aspects of personal care and daily task support.
• Building relationships with participants.
• Ensuring support is delivered in the way participants want.
• Providing feedback to families about progress toward goals.
• Using creativity to deliver effective support.
• Completing relevant reporting in a timely fashion.
