Job summary

Golden Heart Services in Sydney is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist adults with disability at multiple Sydney locations. You’ll provide personal care, mobility support, and community participation, aligning with individual care plans.

Casual and permanent part-time roles with pathways, on-site teams, paid onboarding, and training. Successful applicants will have First Aid, NDIS checks, and a calm, reliable approach to support clients in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support, mental health or aged care.
• Experience with personal care and/or supporting people with complex needs.
• Calm, patient and consistent approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Assist with manual handling and transfers where needed.
• Assist with medication in line with care plans.
• Follow Behaviour Support Plans with positive strategies.
• Support daily living skills, routines and communication.
