Job summary

McArthur Community Care in Caboolture, Queensland is seeking a reliable and professional Disability Support Worker to assist clients to achieve their goals as outlined in their NDIS plans. The role supports female clients in a house with pets and requires flexibility to suit lifestyle needs.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry experience working with people who have physical disabilities
• Certificate III in Individual Support; Disability Cert IV or equivalent
• Current NDIS workers screening check
• Current Working with children blue card
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Medication Certificates/experience will be looked at favourably
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Household tasks - household cleaning and laundry
• Skill development - shopping, cooking, catching public transport
• Transport - transport to appointments and/or shopping
• Social & Community participation - engage in the community, meet people.

Education
