Job summary

Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking experienced and qualified Disability Support Workers to join our dynamic and dedicated team.

About the Role

We are currently looking for committed Disability Support Workers to support an existing and prospective participant located in Caboolture, QLD. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to an NDIS participant in their home.

Responsibilities

Assisting the participant with daily living activities, such as preparing for day programs, personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and supporting community participation. If you are compassionate, patient, empathetic, and have a positive can-do attitude, this opportunity may be the perfect fit for you.

Skills & Experience Required

• Certificate III in Disability Support, Mental Health, or Aged Care
• Minimum 6 months experience supporting people with disabilities
• Working With Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain one
• Experience working in SIL (Supported Independent Living) and STA (Short-Term Accommodation) environments is highly regarded
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
• Two to three professional references relevant to the industry
• First Aid (HLTAID011 or equivalent) and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Willingness to travel to Caboolture, QLD
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Infection Control training

Key Responsibilities

• Provide community access support (approximately 4–6 hours per day)
• Assist with personal care routines
• Support with daily living activities
• Work on a rotating roster
• Available for casual, part-time, or full-time positions
