Job summary

Scope is seeking a casual Support Worker to empower and assist adults with complex mental health needs in an independent living setting in Orange, NSW.

Role requires strong communication, boundary setting, and the ability to support daily activities while following clinical plans. Applicants should have regular access to a car and relevant checks, with roster flexibility including sleepovers.

Qualifications

• Own car and a P2 NSW Driver's Licence (or higher) and flexible roster availability.
• Must be able to work across AM, split shifts, PM, and sleepovers.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with complex mental health and psychosocial disabilities in an independent living model.
• Follow BIS and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site manager to support complex behaviours.
• Encourage capacity building in hygiene, relationships, domestic duties, transport and community access.
• Promote choice and control and participate in clients’ day-to-day routines, goals and interests.
• Be efficient in computer skills and report writing.
