Job summary

Angelic Care is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our Gold Coast team. The role focuses on personal care, community access and disability support across a rotating roster, including weekends, nights and sleepovers.

You will assist participants to maintain independence and participate in their community while promoting dignity and choice. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in disability or complex care, current First Aid/ CPR, Blue Card where required, a valid Australian driver’s

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in disability, community or complex care.
• Proven ability to provide personal care and support in home/community settings.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Support community access, appointments and social activities.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and manual handling where required.
• Support participants with mealtime routines.
• Provide medication assistance within scope and competency.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation.
• Follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Work with participants, families and the care team.
