St Jude's Health Care Group is seeking a Disability Support Worker - Accommodation to support clients living in supported accommodation in Redbank Plains and travel to Bethania for training. You will build professional relationships and assist clients to achieve their goals within the NDIS framework.

Responsibilities include aiding daily living activities, personal care, meal prep, community participation, and liaising with families to ensure safe, person-centred care in home and community

Qualifications

• Must possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card / QLD Working with Children Check.
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Proof of working rights (passport or valid visa).
• Previous experience as a support worker or a relevant Certificate III (desirable).
• Previous experience supporting clients with mental health needs (highly regarded).

Responsabilités

• Provide support with daily living activities including personal care, dressing, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Deliver tailored support to clients with psychosocial needs.
• Assist with social outings, shopping, and appointments.
• Liaise with families and client representatives as required.
• Promote positive behaviours, skill development, and meaningful learning experiences.
