Job summary

Multitask is hiring Disability Support Workers for the Northern Rivers region, including Lismore and Ballina. Roles are part-time or casual, with shifts across days, nights, sleepovers, weekends and a rotating roster.

You will help participants with daily living, organise activities, and support independence in home and community settings. A current driver’s licence and a first aid certificate are required or obtainable, along with an NDIS worker check.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or qualifications in community or disability services.
• Hold a current drivers licence.
• Have a first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
• Have a current NDIS worker check or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with daily living and household tasks (cooking, cleaning, shopping, budgeting).
• Facilitate programs to support independent living.
• Organise social outings and events for participants.
• Provide support across home, day programs, work or school.
• Drive positive change and build trust with participants.
