Job summary

Lutheran Services Australia is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker for South Burnett Community Services in Kingaroy, Qld. You will empower people with disabilities to live the life they choose, delivering in-home and community-based support.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in achieving personal and developmental goals.
• Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and meal preparation.
• Provide in-home and community-based support to promote independence.
• Encourage skill development through mentoring and positive role modelling.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisation requirements and relevant guidelines.
