Job summary

Aura Assist is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker for casual relief in Campbelltown NSW 2560. You will support a client with daily living activities, promote independence, and help build confidence and community access.

Ideal candidates hold Cert III in Individual Support (or related field), have experience with mental health, and possess First Aid/CPR, NDIS screening, and a valid driver's license. Flexible shifts and travel between clients available.

Aura Assist is a registered NDIS provider committed to empowering people with disabilities to live with confidence, connection, and independence. We’re currently looking for a compassionate, proactive support worker to assist a client in the Campbelltown area.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a support worker to assist a client living with mental health challenges who is looking to build confidence, re-engage with the community, and work on daily living goals. The ideal worker will be someone calm, supportive, and proactive — with the emotional intelligence to build trust and help create safe, empowering routines.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respectful support with personal care and day-to-day routines
• Support community access (e.g., appointments, shopping, social outings)
• Use active listening, grounding, and reassurance strategies
• Promote independence — assist with, not for
• Encourage confidence, self-worth, and small wins
• Be someone the client feels safe and heard with

About You:

• Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or related field, or ongoing degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or Social Work
• Previous experience supporting clients with mental health challenges
• Strong communication and emotional intelligence
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation Module
• Valid First Aid & CPR certifications
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
• Driver’s license (own car preferred)
