Job summary

Nurse Next Door is seeking casual Disability Support/Aged Care/Registered Nurse workers to provide professional companionship and personal care in clients’ homes across Australia. You will follow established care plans, ensure safety, and collaborate with the Care Designer to maintain continuity of care in a Happier Ageing® approach.

Ideal candidates are skilled in paediatric care, airway management or enteral feeding, with the ability to travel to clients’ homes and work overnights or weekend

Qualifications

• Experience in paediatric care, airway management or enteral feeding is preferred.
• Qualified with a Certificate III in Aged/Disability/Community Care.
• Clear National Police Check for Aged Care and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Create Happier Ageing experiences in home settings.
• Deliver care to clients per documented care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living and companionship.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Communicate with the Care Designer and CSC team for scheduling and updates.
• Review care plans before visits and maintain accurate records.
• Engage with clients and families to elevate their care experience.
• Update availability and leave requests with HR for continuity.

Job Summary :-

To provide professionalcompanionship andpersonal care to clients based on their individual needs/desires and via an established/documented care plan. Work directly with the client, their families and friends, reporting to their Nurse Next Door Care Designer ensuring continuity of care. Supporting every client in promoting Happier Ageing®, and providing safe client care in accordance with the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and Nurse Next Door policies.

We're Especially Looking for Workers who can Fill the Following Needs :-

We are seeking highly skilled Support Workers, Registered Nurses, and Enrolled Nurses with experience in providing PAEDIATRIC care, AIRWAY MANAGEMENT, and ENTERAL FEEDING to support a very special client in their home. This is acontinuity-focussed role, ideal for someone who values building a meaningful relationship with their client and family, while delivering safe, confident clinical care.

Availability (essential)

• Fridays, Mondays: 10:00pm - 8:30am Active Overnights (must commit ongoing)
• Sundays 9:00am-2:00pm (must commit ongoing)

Responsibilities :-

Creates Happier Ageing® experiences and client focused care in home and community settings

Delivers on our Brand Promise by owning the client’s experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families

Assists clients with activities of daily living: healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc.

Meets safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately

Provides premium care approach to clients and their family members

Responds to Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed timelines

Reviews the care plan prior to all visits, completing records accurately and completing all tasks as requested

Engages in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client’s experience and care are identified

Updates availability and leave requests (as per stated expectations) with HR to ensure continuity of care for your client

Knowledge and understanding of basic infection control principles

Completion of eLearning
