Nurse Next Door is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support for older adults and individuals with disabilities. You will deliver personalised care, assist with daily living activities, and follow care plans created by registered nurses and care designers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or completed a minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support or Disability.
• National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
• Working With Children Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion

Responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience that is compassionate and personalised.
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transport and companionship.
• Deliver care per the client’s care plan developed by the Care Designer (RN).
• Meet safety needs and use equipment properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately.
• Participate in the Making Lives Better Employee Rewards program.
• Work with a supportive and dynamic team and engage in ongoing training.

About the Role

Making Lives Better® and Happier Ageing® are at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.

We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
• Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Skills & Experience

• Previous caregiving experience is an asset.

• Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
• Reliable way to get to and from the client's homes.
• Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset

Mandatory Requirements

• Enrolled or Completed a minimum Cert III in eitherAged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
• National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
• Working With Children Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
