Job summary

Mobile Attendant Care Service on the Gold Coast is recruiting a Disability Support Worker for active evening and overnight shifts. The role provides in-home support to people with physical disabilities, including personal care, transfers, and safety checks, with a dedicated MACS vehicle for travel between clients.

We value reliability, flexibility and responsiveness and require current CPR/First Aid, a valid driver license and NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or willingness to obtain).

Disability Support Worker (Evening & Overnight) – Gold Coast

Mobile Attendant Care Service (MACS) has now expanded to the Gold Coast, and we're looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team.

MACS is a Non for Profit organisation and registered NDIS provider that has been delivering innovative overnight support across Brisbane for more than 30 years, we are excited to be expanding our team on the Gold Coast.

About the Role

Our flexible Drop-In Support Team will operate between 6.00pm and 6.00am, providing planned and responsive support to people with physical disability in their own homes.

You'll travel between clients in a MACS vehicle, delivering short support visits ranging from 5 minutes to 1 hour.

Your shift may include:

Personal care and hygiene

Transfers and hoisting

Dressing and repositioning

Medication assistance

Assistance with eating and drinking

Wellbeing and safety checks

Responding to unplanned support requests

Many other tasks that help people remain safe, independent and comfortable at home

This is an active, varied role that's perfect for someone who enjoys working independently while making a genuine difference in people's lives.

Varied between -

5:00pm - 11:00pm

11:00pm - 6:00am

You’ll also have:
