Job summary

Mobile Attendant Care Service (MACS) in Brisbane is seeking Disability Support Workers for Day, Afternoon and Active Overnight shifts. Roles are casual with ongoing shifts across various Brisbane locations, including Kedron HQ.

You will drive a company vehicle, assist with personal care, transfers/hoisting, dressing and medication support, and provide flexible, person-centered care. Ideal candidates have a driver’s license and access to their own vehicle, NDIA Orientation or willingness to

Qualifications

• Driver's license and own vehicle required.
• Ability to support others with personal care and domestic duties.
• NDIS Orientation Module & Worker Screening, or willingness to obtain at point of employment.
• First Aid/CPR training, or willingness to obtain within 1 month of employment.
• High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible support to clients in their own environments.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing and transfers/hoisting.
• Support with meal prep, medication assistance, and wellbeing checks.
• Drive to client locations using a company shift vehicle.
• Assist with community access and home duties as required.
