Job summary

YouCare Disability Services – Sutherland NSW is seeking energetic, compassionate carers to support participants in the community. The role involves bowel care (or willingness to learn), domestic duties, and facilitating community access across NSW.

Training is provided; you just need a passion for supporting communities. Based in or around Ryde, applicants should have a valid driver’s licence, a reliable vehicle, and be prepared for a diverse range of care tasks including rehabilitation,

Qualifications

• First Aid Certificate is required.
• NDIS Worker clearance check is required.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Bowel care (or willingness to learn).
• Domestic duties (eg. light household chores, washing, meal preparation).
• Community access (taking to appointments, accompanying her on outings, assisting with community participation and driving).
• Rehabilitation.
• Respite support.
• Overnight care.
• Shopping duties.
• Transportation to appointments in own vehicle.

We are primarily located in Sydney, with participants across NSW and are looking for energetic, compassionate, and qualified people to join our team and make a difference. We provide full training for you to be able to deliver services to our participants, all you need is a willingness to learn and a passion for supporting communities.
