Job summary

Care For You Support Services in Belmont NSW is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. You’ll provide respectful, person-centred support tailored to each client’s needs and goals.

Shifts include mornings, sleepovers, and weekends. A relevant qualification in individual support or related field, a current NDIS screening, First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s licence are required. This is meaningful work with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Qualified in individual support, disability, aged care, or community services or willingness to obtain.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
• Supporting clients with community access, appointments, and social activities
• Helping with meal preparation and household tasks
• Administering medications
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Following individual care plans and documenting services accurately

About the role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide respectful, person-centred support tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. You will need to be available to work across various shifts, including mornings, sleepovers, and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
• Supporting clients with community access, appointments, and social activities

• Promoting each client's independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing
• Providing safe and reliable support across morning, sleepover, and weekend shifts
