Job summary

A.P. Care Services is looking for female Disability Support Workers to provide personal care to female NDIS participants in the Sutherland Shire. Some tasks involve transfers via hoist; there may be shifts that suit school hours.

Applicants must have Police Check, NDIS clearance, First Aid, a car, and at least two references, plus proof of COVID vaccinations. Roles in the Sutherland Shire and St George areas offer flexibility for returners to the workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not essential.
• Police Check is required.
• NDIS Worker Clearance is required.
• First Aid Certificate is required.
• Car/driver's licence is preferred.
• At least 2 work references.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for female Disability Support Workers to provide assistance with personal care to female NDIS Participants living within the Sutherland Shire.

The participants have physical needs requiring transfer via hoist.

We are also looking for additional support workers In the Sutherland Shire and St George area to provide services to clients with non complex care needs including domestic assistance, meal preparation, community access and transportation.

This role may suit applicants returning to the workforce or those looking for school hours.

Successful applicants will require:

• Previous experience - preferred but not essential
