Job summary

Rashi Joshi Disability Services in Rockhampton, QLD seeks compassionate Disability Support Workers for casual roles in SIL and Community Participation. Provide 1:1 support to NDIS participants, help with daily living, meal prep, and community activities, within SIL homes and the community.

You will follow support plans, maintain notes, and collaborate with families and coordinators to promote independence and safety.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• Working with Children Check required.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Medication certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support tailored to each participant’s needs and goals.
• Assist with daily living activities to maintain independence.
• Support in SIL homes and in the community.
• Help participants attend appointments, activities, and events.
• Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.
• Encourage choice, dignity, and active participation.
• Follow individual support plans and NDIS requirements.
• Maintain progress notes and documentation in a timely manner.

#### Disability Support WorkerRockhampton City, QLD 4700Casual#### Job descriptionDisability Support Worker – SIL & Community ParticipationAbout the Role:We are seeking compassionate, reliable and person-centred Disability Support Workers to join our team in the Rockhampton area.You will provide 1:1 support to NDIS participants across Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Participation (CP) settings. The shifts available include Day shifts for 6-8 hours, and combined Afternoon and Sleepover shifts.
