Job summary

KD Community is a disability service provider seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in Sydney and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and help participants engage in community and home-based activities.

No prior experience is required as we provide training. Possession of a Blue Card/Working with Children check and a current First Aid/CPR certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated compassion and empathy for participants.
• Willingness to be trained; no prior experience required.
• Must have Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and valid First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Support community access and participation.
• Assist with the development of life skills.
• Perform domestic duties.
• Offer companionship to participants.
• Assist with daily tasks such as meal prep, shopping, and appointments.

KD Community is a disability service provider. Founded by best friends Jack & Brandon, We specialise in community access and in home care offering support to participants who are seeking energetic, compassionate support workers.

We started in the Gold Coast and now service Brisbane , Sydney and Melbourne!

Supporting participants from all over the suburbs of Sydney and we're looking for new support workers to join our growing team and help us make a difference in these high demanding areas.

Qualifications & experience

• Experience not essential as you will be trained
