Job summary

KD Community is a registered NDIS disability service provider offering in-home care and community access for participants seeking energetic and compassionate support workers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Disability Support Worker to join our growing team in the Northern Gold Coast area.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact supporting participants to live more independently, confidently, and socially.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support or caregiving roles.
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check) in Australia.
• Current first aid/CPR certification.
• Authorized to work in Australia.
• Valid driver license and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Community access and participation support.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Development of life skills with participants.
• Domestic duties as needed.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with daily tasks such as meals, shopping, appointments.
• Opportunities for growth and development.
• Ongoing work, support and training.
• Contribute to a great team environment.
• Deliver participant-focused, meaningful support.
