Job summary

Scope Australia is recruiting dedicated care workers to support a mix of female and male clients with high dependency and high-physical support needs in Kingswood, NSW. You will provide extensive personal care, mealtime assistance, and safety-focused support in a dynamic team.

Role requires hands-on compassion, reliability, and the ability to complete clear reporting in our computer-based systems. Successful applicants will have full Australian working rights and a NSW driver licence.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Driver Licence (P2 or higher).
• Regular access to a vehicle and flexible availability to work shorter shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide extensive personal care, including showering, toileting, continence management, hoist transfers, dressing and mealtime assistance.
• Maintain participant dignity, choice and respect while delivering high-quality support.
• Complete clear, accurate reporting within required timeframes using computer-based systems.

Job description

This home supports a mixture of female and male clients with high dependency and high-physical support needs. Support needs include mealtime and epilepsy management, full personal care, bowel care/enema and dysphagia support. If you are a support worker who is hands-on, compassionate, and committed to providing comprehensive care, then this role is for you.

This role is suited to people who:

• Proudly promote choice and control and show eagerness to participate in our clients' day to day routines.
• Are comfortable adhering too NDIS are plan as directed by clinical teams and Site Managers.

Provide extensive personal care and high-care supports, including showering, toileting, continence management, hoist transfers, dressing, and mealtime assistance, while maintaining participant dignity, choice, and respect.

Resides within a reasonable distance of Jordan Springs and is willing to work shorter shifts as part of a flexible roster.

Are reliable and proactive team players who works collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality support to participants.

• Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering consistent, safe, person-centred support in physically demanding environments.

Confidently use computer-based systems and able to complete clear, accurate, and detailed reporting within required timeframes.

Some of our requirements:

Full Australian working rights, regular access to a vehicle, a current NSW Driver Licence (P2 or higher), and flexible availability to work shorter shifts that may include 6:00am to 10:00am, 6:00am to 9:00am, 2:00pm to 8:00pm, 2:00pm to 10:00pm, and 2:30pm to 6:30pm.
