Job summary

Nurtured Aspirations on the Central Coast is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. We support adults with disability and psychosocial needs across Point Clare, East Gosford and The Entrance, focusing on person-centered, strengths-based approaches.

You will build genuine relationships, help participants achieve goals, and engage with community activities. Casual and part-time opportunities are available, with SCHADS Award level 2 pay and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• National Police Check.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Experience in disability, mental health or community support is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, respectful and encouraging support to participants.
• Assist with building confidence, independence and community connections.
• Support young adults and young parents with their children when required.
• Work independently or as part of a team in a community setting.

Nurtured Aspirations is a growing NDIS provider supporting adults living with disability and psychosocial disability across the Central Coast.

We’re looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated Disability Support Workers who want more than just a job. We want people who enjoy building genuine relationships, getting out into the community and helping participants achieve the things that are important to them.

Current Work Locations

We currently have opportunities supporting participants in:

Point Clare | East Gosford | The Entrance

Roles involve working closely with young adult females, including supporting a young mother with her baby.

This is an opportunity for the right person to provide practical, respectful and encouraging support while helping participants build confidence, independence and community connections.

Pay & Conditions

SCHADS Award - Social and Community Services Level 2

Employment conditions and applicable penalty rates will be in accordance with the SCHADS Award.
