Job summary

Lionheart Inclusion, Training & Support Services in Gladstone is hiring Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred care across shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and overnights. You’ll be backed 24/7 by our clinical and rostering team, with full training and induction provided.

Experience with disability support, reliability and a passion for empowering clients to reach their goals are valued.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Australian Disability Support is highly regarded but not essential.
• First Aid & CPR certification required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card are required before starting.
• NDIS Worker Orientation modules and ID verification are mandatory.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred care and everyday support including:

• Personal care, meal prep and medication support
• Social and community inclusion activities
• Transport and assistance with daily living
• Group programs
• Supported Independent Living (SIL) support

You’ll be backed 24/7 by our clinical and rostering team, with full training and induction provided.

We’re looking for experienced people who are values-driven, reliable and passionate about empowering people with disability to reach their goals.

Must have (before starting):

• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue Card
• First Aid & CPR
• NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
• 100 points of ID

Qualifications:

Cert III in Individual Support (or equivalent) is highly regarded but not essential — commitment, compassion and willingness to learn are what matter most.

Experience with manual handling, hoisting, mental health and complex behaviours is desirable, but full training will be provided.
