Job summary

Unidex Healthcare seeks experienced Disability Support Workers to assist a 20-year-old female participant in Stratheden, NSW. Role focuses on compassionate, person-centred support to foster independence and daily life engagement.

Shifts run Monday to Sunday with day, afternoon, and weekend rates; mileage incentives apply for travel to/from shifts. Candidates must meet NDIS and health/safety certification requirements and have reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or relevant.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Current Police Check - within the last 12 months.
• NDIS - Worker Orientation Module or willing to complete.
• NDIS - Supporting Effective Communication Module or willing to complete.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working with Children Check.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Two current references are required.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care and daily living activities, including supervision and prompting.
• Assistance with bowel therapy (administering enema and digital stimulation).
• Assistance with domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Support with community access and rehab appointments.

About The Role:

Unidex Healthcare are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to support an 20-year-old female participant based in Stratheden, NSW. The participant has sustained a spinal cord injury resulting in reduced lower limb mobility and some upper limb limitations. She is a vibrant, energetic, and spiritual young woman, and this role would suit someone who can provide compassionate, person-centred support while fostering independence and positive engagement in daily life.

Monday - Sunday

• 10:00AM - 15:00PM (5)
• 18:00PM - 22:00PM (4)

Pay Rates:

• Day - $40.00 per hour
• Afternoon - $44.00 per hour
• Saturday - $56.00 per hour
• Sunday - $72.00 per hour

Staff are paid a mileage incentive of $0.73c per km (minus the first 10km) when travelling to and from shift.

Key Responsibilities:
