Job summary

Multicap in Bli Bli, Queensland, is seeking compassionate disability supports workers to help customers live independently and reach their full potential. You will work in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and deliver Community Access Support (CAS) as part of a dedicated team.

Roles include a variety of shifts—morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and sleepovers—across part-time, permanent, and casual arrangements.

Qualifications

• Availability to work across a variety of shifts including sleepovers.
• Current Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).
• Paid Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

About Your New Role

As a member of our Disability Services team, you will play a key role in ensuring quality care and promoting independence within the supports provided. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative strategies that empower customers to overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.

In this position, you will support individuals with a disability in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home, as well as deliver Community Access Support (CAS), assistingthem to live independently and achieve their personal goals.

About You

• An empathetic person who has agenuine passion forsupporting individualswith a disability
• Experience with health support, mealtimeassistance, medicationadministrationand manualhandling (desired but not necessary)
• Abilityto prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations
• Ability to complete basic administrative tasks
