Job summary

InLife Independent Living Ltd in Victoria is seeking compassionate care workers to support clients with disability across Greendale, Kyneton, Heathcote and Bendigo. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and help clients access community programs.

The role requires patience, good judgement, a valid driver's licence, and flexibility for varied shifts including sleepovers and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with a physical disability, including manual handling.
• Experience with providing personal care.
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to drive client’s vehicle.
• Commitment to working varied shifts, including sleepovers and in-home support.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and work in a team with professionals.
• Respect for diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support to clients with disability.
• Support clients across home, community access and in-home evening shifts.
• Drive clients to activities and appointments as needed.
• Work as part of a care team to ensure safety, dignity and independence.
