Job summary

InLife is hiring passionate disability support workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care across Wangaratta and nearby towns in Victoria. Join a not-for-profit provider committed to independence and dignity for people with disability.

You will support clients with daily living, participate in community access, and may include sleepovers and evening in-home assistance. A driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are valued, with shifts offered weekdays and beyond induction.

Qualifications

• Good judgement and common sense; strong listening skills and willingness to learn.
• Confidence and resilience to handle day-to-day challenges calmly and respectfully.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleepovers and evening support.
• Patience, empathy and persistence to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Enthusiasm for helping people with disability to live independently and with dignity.
• Commitment to a care-team approach and working with families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support and personal care as needed.
• Assist with domestic duties and household tasks.
• Support clients with community access and transport where required.
• Engage in regular shifts, including sleepovers, across multiple locations in Victoria.
