AHS Nursing Agency is seeking a Disability Support Worker to join a caring team in Dee Why NSW 2099. You will provide personal care and domestic assistance to a male participant (8 years old), support his daily routines, and help him access community activities. A valid Working with Children Check is mandatory.

We value patience, gentle communication, and the ability to work closely with families and other support staff to promote the child’s wellbeing, independence and social participation.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• Experience supporting children with Autism, sensory needs, or vision impairments.
• Ability to provide personal care, domestic assistance, and social support.
• Proactive approach to supporting clients to achieve goals and maintain community participation.
• Physically capable of providing safe mobility support and assisting with community access.
• Ability to communicate effectively with families and care teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.

• Assist the participant to maintain independence within daily routine.
